Itinerary

1. Day 1: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • After your early breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
   • You will be picked up by our company representative, who will be your driver guide. He will brief you about your trip.
   • Travel westwards through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey will take 6-7 hours.
   • Stopovers at the Equator for an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time.
   • Lunch en route. Continue through the savannah grasslands with lots of banana plantations and several herds of local long-horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country.
   • Get to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening.
   • Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Twins Lake Safari Lodge.

2. Day 2: Wildlife Safari and Boat Cruise

   • After an early morning breakfast at your lodge, set off for a morning game drive.
   • Benefit from an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats.
   • Expect to see the Elephants, Buffalos, Lions, Bushbucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas, Leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds.
   • Later enjoy your lunch and relax. In the afternoon, take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel.
   • See, at close range, the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles, and elephants bathing on the channel banks.
   • Also, observe a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican, and Jacana.
   • Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Twins Lake Safari Lodge.

3. Day 3: Chimp Tracking and Return to Entebbe

   • After your early morning breakfast at your lodge.
   • Check-out and head to Kalinzu forest for chimp tracking.
   • Chimp tracking takes 3-4 hours.
   • Proceed for your transfer back to Entebbe with lunch en-route, arriving in Entebbe late evening.
   • Be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your departure flight depending on your schedule.
