Itinerary

1. Day 1- Transfer From Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park

   • On your morning arrival at Entebbe Airport, have a refreshing short coffee break for at least an hour.
   • Then, Begin your adventure with a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The Forest is renowned for its diverse primates, such as the chimpanzee, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, a variety of bird species and lush vegetation. You will arrive at the lodge late afternoon in time for an overnight stay.

2. Day 2- Primates tracking in Kibale Forest

   • Early morning after your early breakfast, drive to the park offices for an 8 AM briefing.
   • Then embark on an exhilarating 3-4 hour Chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest, observing these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. The forest is refreshing and rewarding, with a cool breeze surrounded by the lush greenery with the sweet sounds of the forest inhabitants.
   • After the forest experience, travel for 2-3 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a lunch break along the way. If time allows, start with a late afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains. 
   • Then check in at your cottage located in the middle of the savanna park, look out for wild animals moving around the cottage area late evening in search of food an enriching experience

3. Day 3- Morning Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • After an early morning Breakfast, head out for a morning game drive to encounter various wildlife against the backdrop of stunning landscapes for 3-4 hours. 
   • Later, embark on a 3-4 hour drive to Bwindi Forest National Park, arrive later in the afternoon at your forest wooden cottage setup on a mountain with a forest view of the impenetrable forest and gardens, you will feel the love for nature in this beautiful landscape that offers stunning scenery.

4. Day 4- The Gorilla Experience in Bwindi Forest

   • Have a relaxing early breakfast, then drive to the park offices for an 8 AM briefing, then embark on an experience which is the highlight of your journey with a 3-6 hour forest walk, which rewards with coming face to face with these majestic creatures.
   • After meeting and interacting with these amazing creatures for an hour, you will walk out of the forest and have your parked lunch. 
   • Then, drive  for 2-3 hours to Mgahinga Forest National Park,

5. Day 5- Golden Monkey tracking at Mgahinga Forest

   • After an early breakfast, drive for 30 minutes to the park office for an 8 AM briefing. Delight in a golden monkey experience in Mgahinga Forest, witnessing these playful primates in their natural habitat. Along the trails, marvel at the beautiful landscapes of the Virunga mountains; the Forest experience lasts for at least 5-6 hours.
   • After the forest walk, have a lunch break. 
   • Later, embark on a 3-hour drive to Lake Kivu in Rwanda. You will stop for the border clearance process for 30 minutes. The drive rewards a transition in the people's way of life in the two countries. You will arrive late afternoon, relax and have your evening at leisure

6. Day 6- Visit Goma city- Congo then transfer to Kigali City

   • Explore Goma city in Congo with a morning city tour, discovering its cultural and historical landmarks (this is an optional activity). 
   • Then, journey for 3-4 hours to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon at your Hotel and enjoying an evening in one of Kigali's fun spots.

7. Day 7- Kigali city cultural and historical Tour

   • After a relaxed morning breakfast, Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and have lunch at the remarkable Hotel Rwanda, reflecting on Rwanda's history. 
   • Then, enjoy a city drive to discover Kigali's vibrant culture and attractions.

8. Day 8- Transfer to Burigi -Chato National Park in Tanzania

   • Depart early in the morning by 5 AM to Tanzania, have breakfast along the way, and drive a 5-6 hour drive to Burigi-Chato National Park, arriving late. 
   • Embark on an afternoon game drive to witness the park's diverse wildlife. The park is blessed with wildlife, including African Cape buffalos, impalas, and hippos. 
   • Later in the early evening, check-in at your lodge.

9. Day 9- Transfer to Bujumbura city - Burundi

   • After breakfast at the lodge, Travel to Gitega City, a 6-7-hour drive. Visit the Drum Sanctuary, a remarkable place that showcases the vibrant culture and historical backgrounds of the region. 
   • Then, continue to Bujumbura city for another lap of cultural immersion.

10. Day 10- Boat Safari at Lake Tanganyika- Africa’s deepest Lake

    • Explore the scenic beauty of Lake Tanganyika with a morning boat tour, and later discover other tourist sites around Bujumbura city. 
    • By the end of the day, return to your hotel and prepare for departure at Bujumbura Airport, making an end to this rewarding East Africa safari experience.
