Shaked Mordechay

Shaked had the mountainous task of guiding 16 young adventurers (19-24) through Jerusalem. His day was about 12hrs long and included Yad Vashem, The Old City walkthrough ( to include Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Western Wall), Friends of Zion Museum, and an awesome food tour. While most of our group just wanted selfies and to move on, Shaked was able to capture our groups' attention to teach a little about Israel and its history. He was able to find what areas the group was interested in and touch more on those topics while giving a brief rundown of other areas. This being my 2nd time in Israel, I found his method effective in catering to the needs and expectations of the group. Doing this, those that didn't care about the history got their selfies and those that loved history got their explanations and questions answered. There was not a time where we regretted having Shaked as our guide. In parting, Shaked gave great suggestions for places to visit so our group could experience the awesome night life in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Our group spent 4 days in Israel, but everyone remembers the good fun nature when we were under Shaked care. Truly one of the best guides I've meet.
