Siham Haleem

Our two days with Siham were exceptional in every way. Besides being a charming, engaging, sincere, kind, young man, who makes you feel immediately like family, he also has a wonderful sense of humor and a story-telling ability to clearly explain even some of the most delicate concepts  surrounding religion, politics and social situations in the Middle East.  He made our experience in Qatar not only fun, but also thought-provoking both on intellectual and spiritual levels.  Thank you, Siham, for all!  Even though we still have 5 more weeks on the road before we return to the States, I’m sure these two days with you will be the highlight of this trip to be remembered in full technicolor for the rest of our lives. 

Maher Yaseen

Everything about our three days with Maher was exceptional!  From the small things like timely communication, arriving on time, sticking to our pre-arranged schedule (all of which add up to be very important in the total scheme of things), to the big things that make an average tour fantastic.  Maher was The Best. 

Maher made us feel like family from the first moment we met him. He’s gentle and kind, accepting and tolerant, he’s very engaging with a subtle sense of humor that makes every minute with him fun and entertaining. He is very intelligent with a vast knowledge of Bahrain’s rich history, and his simple teaching techniques helped our simple minds to absorb as much as possible in a short period time.   We also appreciated that Maher was willing to share a little of his personal life with us, whuch helped us to better understand Middle East culture, traditions, religion and politics - not always easy subjects to talk about, but Maher did it with tact and ease. 

If you ever get the opportunity to have Maher as your guide, don’t let the opportunity pass. He is a beautiful man and a fantastic tour guide!!

Adnan Safrar

Adnan was exceptional in all ways!  He’s charming, comfortable to be with from the moment we met, he’s professional, informative, professional, and he actually took us on the itinerary he promised us!!  And believe me that doesn’t always happen!!!  We are part of a larger group of almost 30 people . The rest of the group did a bus tour from the the cruise ship, and no one was happy at all. Thank you, Adnan, for all your speedy responses to my myriad of questions over the past 6 months, and thank you for sharing  your small part of the world with us. You’re the best!!

Joseph Micallef

We spent a fabulous day in Malta with Joseph!!  Everything about our experience with Joseph was exceptional!  He was a timely and excellent communicator. He spent a lot of time with me on email before the trip, so we were able to put together a full day tour that satisfied all the whims and wishes of our group of 8. Joseph’s English is fabulous - clear, concise and never rehearsed (or canned). He is very knowledgeable about everything having to do with Malta, he was engaging, and it was obvious that he’s passionate about his work. We would highly recommend Joseph to anyone visiting Malta!!

Zvika Livneh

Everything about our tour in Isreal with Zvika was exceptional!!  We were 12 friends on an Oceania cruise with a two day layover in Haifa. None of us had ever been to Israel before, and each of us had our own laundry list of “Must Sees” once we got there. I’m sure we were a challenge for Zvika from the beginning, but he always handled us professionally and with great finesse all along our journey together. 

All suggestions and ideas that Zvika had were wonderful, but his best suggestion by far - and he threw out the idea very early in our negotiations, which helped to cement our relationship - was that we spend the night in Jerusalem rather than return to the ship. That decision alone saved us about 4 hours travel time, plus we got a couple extra hours of sleep on the second morning. 

Zvika started out with a basic, two-day itinerary that we worked over for months. We all finally agreed on spending a few hours on the first morning seeing a few sights in the Sea of Galilee area, leaving the majority of our time for Masada and ending the day with a Dead Sea Experience. We spent the night at an Airbnb In Jerusalem and the entire second day on a walking tour of Jerusalem, and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute. 

Zvika is knowledgeable and engaging and obviously love his job!!  He is the best storyteller EVER and had us hanging on his every word, especially with his stories of the relentless Roman attacks on the Zealots hunkered down on the top of Masada. 

Zvika also did an excellent job of avoiding most of the large crowds of tourists from the cruise ship, who were also keen on seeing all of Isreal in just 2 days. He maneuvered us around crowds, sometimes through crowds, and sometimes we went the opposite direction of the crowds. He’s truly a master at what he does. 

In addition to sharing his knowledge and his stories, Zvika was also willing to share some of his personal life with us, which made our time with him all that much richer. He’s a wonderful person, a fantastic guide, and now I consider him a friend, as well!!

Thank you, Zvika, for two beautiful days that will leave us with fond memories for the rest of our lives!!

Tomasz Kurczewski

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe our experience with Tomasz. From our first communication to the final note of our Chopin concert, everything was perfect. We never want the “canned” tour that usually includes every church, palace and museum.  Tomasz was always sensitive to our interests and to the direction we wanted the tour to go. He is kind and gentle, he is very knowledgeable about everything Poland, and being a grade school teacher, he was able to explain everything in a way that we could easily follow, understand  AND remember. As soon as we met, Tomasz made us feel comfortable and like old friends, and he created experiences for us that we wouldn’t have had on our own, and they were exactly the kinds of experiences we were hoping for. We wanted to feel the pulse of the city, we wanted to understand more about local life, local traditions, and we wanted to spend more time amongst locals rather than amongst tourists, and we accomplished all that and more. We highly recommend Tomasz and know your time with him will be one of your fondest memories of your trip to Poland. Thank you, Tomek!!
