Hem Raj Bastola

What makes Hemraj such a brilliant guide is not his local knowledge, which is excellent, his positivity  or his ability to entertain but the fact that he puts his customers first everytime. He always works around what they want, and are able to do. He clearly loves his job, the Nepali countryside and spending time with his customers and it shows. 

He's also incredibly generous with his knowledge and willing to help and share what he knows with people on the trail who aren't using his guiding services. It was a joy to spend time with him.
