George Meyer

It's impossible to describe our time with George with one word but if I had to it would be Spectacular! My wife and I had spent seven days in two safari camps and then traveled to Victoria Falls before visiting Cape Town. We figured a few days sight seeing and relaxing would let us unwind from our Fabulous 35th wedding anniversary trip to South Africa. From the time George met us at the airport until he dropped us off four days later we had some of the most exciting and enjoyable days of out trip! George's knowledge of his country and its culture is amazing. I doubt if there;s a university professor who knows more about South Africa and its history. We had a schedule problem and it looked like we were not going to get to Table Mountain. George told us not to worry. He picked us up early and dropped us off late just so we could see all the high lights of Cape Town and the coast. His knowledge of the culture and Nelson Mandela was amazing. He took us off the beaten tourist trail to experience the area as only a resident would. If we are ever fortunate enough to visit South Africa again my first contact will be with George and we will schedule our trip around his schedule so as to be able to spend our time with him. I can't imagine a more knowledgable or entertaining guide than George. We met as guide and clients but parted as friends.
