When we told our guide in Istanbul that we were going to Urfa to see Gobekli Tepe, he immediately suggested that we contact Taha. From the moment he welcomed us at the airport, we knew we were in safe hands. Ancient history aside...Urfa is known for its kebabs...we immediatlely had to satisfy our stomach before embarking on our journey through southeastern Anatolia to Gobleklitepe and Mesopatamia, to the Euphrates River.   The day was magical. Taha's knowledge of history is impressive without imposing it upon us.  He led us through the day with grace, generousity and kindness....and for that, I'm extremely grateful.
