Anne Marie Perry
Anne Marie Perry planned & organized my April 2017 land-based travel arrangements in Mali, Guinea, and Burkina Faso. She is originally from Guinea, speaks English fluently, & knows these countries very well. She was absolutely outstanding, unfailingly helpful & responsive to all my requests, communicated clearly & regularly about my arrangements, ensured that I knew exactly what to expect, & went way "above and beyond" to help me time and again. I cannot praise her highly enough! In fact when I couldn't find a local guide & driver for Burkina Faso (after many tries),I asked Anne Marie for help, though it was not her area of expertise. She contacted her sister Kadi in Ouagadougou, who became my wonderful guide & also made all my local arrangements. In each of these countries Anne Marie arranged an excellent support team for me -- an English-speaking guide plus car & driver who met me at the airport, took me all around, helped me see & experience as much as possible in the short few days I spent in each country, and returned me safely to the airport. My support teams (Boucoume & Jenabou in Mali, Bato Dore in Guinea, & Kadi in Burkina Faso) were all wonderfully helpful -- welcoming and prompt, always on time, knowledgeable & helpful, plus kind, cheerful & pleasant. I was extremely fortunate to connect with Anne Marie to make all my land-based arrangements in these 3 "non-tourist" West African destinations. I highly recommend her (& her great support team members) to any traveler who needs dependable, responsive and reasonably-priced travel support in these 3 countries. Confidence Aguiyi
Confidence Ekele provided me with excellent travel support in planning and organizing my April 2017 land-based travel arrangements in Monrovia, Liberia. He speaks English fluently, and though living in Ghana, he is also experienced and knowledgeable about Liberia. In advance of my travel, Confidence was always helpful and responsive to all my requests. He communicated clearly and regularly with me in advance about my local arrangements in Liberia, and was also dependably helpful after my arrival. In fact, in order to meet me in person when I arrived at the Monrovia airport, he traveled all the way by bus from his home base in Acccra,Chana. He also made arrangements for our local transportation (car and driver) with Michael Williams, a very fine and knowledgeable Liberian national. Together Confidence and Michael ensured that I was able to see and experience as much as possible during the 3 short days I spent in Liberia, including visiting many sights in Monrovia itself, and -- at my special request -- attending Easter Sunday Mass at Monrovia's Cathedral; visiting the famous, now-derelict hotel and conference center outside Monrovia (built for the 1979 Organization of African Unity meeting); and locating the remote cemetery with thousands of 2014+ ebola victims' graves deep in the country side outside Monrovia. During my Liberia visit, both Confidence and Michael were prompt and dependable, always on time, knowledgeable and helpful, trustworthy, plus kind and pleasant.
