Susan Manandhar

My sister and I spent two days with Susan visiting Patan and Bhaktapur in the Kathmandu Valley in late October 2015. We had an excellent experience. I learned so many new things even though I’d spent a lot of time in Kathmandu over the years. My sister, visiting Nepal for the first time, got a well-informed impression of the history of these sites and Kathmandu – and the meaning of what we were looking at. Despite my hearing about “blended culture” for years, Susan was able to point out many living examples and made that term much more than an interesting idea for me. I came away with a much deeper appreciation for a place I thought I knew pretty well. And my sister got her fill of what she’d come for. We would definitely work with Susan again; she’s knowledgeable, personable and well organized…hard to find in Kathmandu!
