Wilson Pilatuna

Wilson is an engaging, kind, patient tour guide who gave us a highlights tour of Quito.  We traveled with our granddaughters, ages 8 and 11, and he incuded them in the conversation without talking down to them.  He made it fun.  He gave thoughtful, honest responses to our questions.  He introduced us to local Ecuadorians at the Plaza where we could choose hand-made, authentic gifts-yet with no pressure.  He was helpful in finding good places to eat and ordering the dishes he thought we'd like given our preferences.  He navigated the airport documents and registrations at 5 am so we could feel confident we would get to our next destination.  He made sure we received everything we paid for.  He was very knowledgable and his English was easy to understand.  It is not surprising he has freinds all over the world.  He is a goodwill ambassador.
