Susan Manandhar

My wife and I decided to take a four day visit to Kathmandu in October 2015. We found Susan Manandhar, a licensed tour guide, while searching for personal tour guides and feel fortunate that we did. Her references were excellent and she lived up to them. Susan met us at the airport took us back to the airport and handled everything in between. Through correspondence, she arranged a nice hotel in a handy location. For various tours, she picked us up at the hotel with a good driver and car - In Kathmandu, you need an excellent driver. Except for a walking tour, our driver dropped us off and picked us up as close to the sites as possible and watched our belongings while we toured. Susan arranged a wonderful night in Nagarkot so we could see the sunset and sunrise over the Himalayan Mountains. She accompanied us and spent the night in the same hotel. She was never late and we felt in good hands for entire stay. Most importantly, she is well educated and has an understanding of Nepalese history and religion.
