I've traveled to SouthEast Asia several times and always use a guide in locations I visit for the first time. I needed a guide for Kuala Lumpur who could provide a vehicle for four people, pick us up at the airport (about an hour away) and show us points of interest in the city first day, followed by suggestions for a full day tour outside the city on day two. Our experience with Jason was a 10 out of 10 in every category. Jason stood out with a quick reply and detailed itinerary. My inquiries were answered promptly and the desire to accommodate was obvious. The four of us were captivated by Jason's knowledge of Malaysia and KL in particular and his narrative was entertaining and informative. Suggestions about navigating the area during our non-tour time was helpful and his positive attitude and friendly manner gave us the reassurance that we were in good hands with a man who knew his craft very well and enjoyed working with his clients.

This was our second trip to Vietnam but our first time to Da Nang. Picking a good guide based on reviews and brief bios is luck at best and often results in a disappointing experience. Fortunately, our experience with Nguyen exceeded expectations and resulted in an enjoyable experience for me and my traveling partner. Not only was he very well-versed in local history but able to describe things in a way we could relate to. Communication was very good, which is not always the case in Asia, and pride in showing us Hoi An, the area he was raised, made for an enjoyable and interesting full-day tour. All in all we had a very satisfying two and a half days with Nguyen and highly recommend him.
