Robert Matevosyan

Robert took me on an 8-day tour of Armenia where we traveled to many of the major sites that included many churches and monasteries as well as spectacular scenic areas in this mountainous country. He also explained the history of Christianity in Armenia dating to the time of Gregory the Illuminator to the recent war with Azerbaijan over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.  His explanations of church architecture were very detailed and he possesses a wealth of knowledge about the history and cuisine of the various regions.
