Based on a detailed request, we have facilitated a tailored program for a group of four travelers.

As the program runs in the midst of rainy season, we have been extra careful with the transfer times and added a fair amount of buffer in between locations, due to poor road conditions.

To assure flexibility in case of heavy rain, we have kept the requested Buggy tour optional.

As the Luang Prabang Ballet is closed during the monsoon, we have suggested an interesting similar alternative.

It is important to consider the rainy season when planning a trip to Laos.

However, the advantages of visiting this time of year, is that the amount of tourists are very low and the nature and flora is more green and lush than ever.

11th July 2024, WELCOME TO LUANG PRABANG
Day 1 :

An ancient city that has been inhabited for thousands of years, Luang Prabang was once the royal capital of Laos, till 1975.It is now a vibrant and historical city of gilded temples, saffron-robed monks, lush forests and cascading waterfalls.Despite being a tourist area, it still maintains a calming and peaceful atmosphere that charms all visitors Upon arrival at the airport the English-speaking guide with a minivan will meet and pick you up to transfer to the hotel (Satri House) Luang Prabang Airport arrive at 12:00 PM, flight: PG941

13th July 2024, EXPLORE LUANG PRABANG
Day 3 :

The day in the morning start by visiting the museum at the former Royal Palace Museum, built between 1904 & 1905, during the French colonial rule as a residence for King Sisavangvong and visit Traditional Art & Ethnology Centre (TAEC).

14th July 2024, VISIT KUANG SI WATERFALL
Day 4 :

After breakfast, we will travel to visit the incredibly scenic Kuang Xi Waterfall.
This is one of the most famous sights in Laos and is surrounded by turquoise blue pools, an idyllic place for swimming! And afterwards, stop to visit Butterfly Park

15th July 2024, LUANG PRABANG – NONG KHIAW
Day 5 :

Today is a journey day from Luang Prabang to Nong Khiaw by private minivan, in the morning after enjoying the breakfast at hotel, the guide with minivan will meet and pick up then transfer to directly to Nong Khiaw, the journey takes approximately 4 hours, upon arrive at Nong Khiaw to check in at Maison De Nong Khiaw then relax at your leisure.

16th July 2024, A DAY TRIP TO MUANG NGOI
Day 6 :

Today, we will take the boat trip from Nong Khiaw up to Muang Ngoi and visit some villages, in the morning after the breakfast we take the boat cruise up the Nam Ou river to Ban Sop Jam village, the textile weaving and Muang Ngoi village, visit the school at weaving village and school in Muang Ngoi village, after Muang Ngoi we take the boat down to Ban Sop Kong village, it is located on the Nam Ou river bank then start walking from the village the Yensabai organic farm about 25 minutes-walk through the rice field, lunch will be served at the Yensabai organic farm, after lunch we have optional that walk to visit the Tad Mork water fall then we return to village on the same way to meet our boat back to Nong Khiaw.

17th July 2024, HIKING TO VIEWPOINT ABOVE NONG KHIAW
Day 7 :

Today we will start the trip early in the morning that based on sunrise, we start from resort to transfer by boat from resort about 10 minutes to get to Nong Khiaw then start walking uphill to the view point of Phadaeng view point that we will see fantastic view above Nong Khiaw and Muang Ngoi along the Nam Ou River, the trip takes approximately 4 hours for the round trip.

18th July 2024, NONG KHIAW – LUANG PRABANG – VANG VIENG
Day 8 :

In the morning, we will travel back to Luang Prabang by private minivan to drop off at the train station to travel to Vang Vieng, the trip from Nong Khiaw to Luang Prabang at the train station about 4 hours and the train to Vang Vieng takes about 1 hour, upon arrival at Vang Vieng train station you will be picked up to transfer to Vang Vieng Riverside Boutique Resort by local transportation of Song Theow or Tuk-Tuk.

- Option 2: Zip line with TCK tour - 15USD PAX per Hour

Day 10 :

Do the Hot Air Balloon in Vang Vieng early in the morning around 5:30 – 7:00 AM (Balloon Over Vang Vieng) after the balloon tour relax on your own at hotel, in the afternoon go to hike up to visit Nam Xay view point to see the fantastic view during the sunset
