Arrival at Keukenhof Gardens
Situated in the heart of South Holland’s tulip area, the Keukenhof was once just a vegetable and herb garden. Today, it is home to some 800,000 tourists annually and holds the title of largest flower garden in the world. Millions of bulbs are planted in the 32 hectares of gardens and 15 kilometers of walkways throughout this visit. The grounds are covered in a multitude of vividly colored spring bulbs, including tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and others. Explore the historical garden, the Japanese garden, and the English garden. Admire the floral sculptures, which are based on a yearly theme.

Next, visit Zaanse Schans, an outdoor museum including wooden homes, shops, and operational windmills from the 18th and 19th centuries.
