Description
A pleasant and much-loved trip to two of the island's most popular cities. The fascinating history of old and modern Cyprus will make your holiday even more colorful.
We will lead the way to Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque a historic Islamic shrine located in Larnaca, Cyprus. It is one of the most important religious sites in Cyprus and is considered to be the third most important holy site in the world for Muslims after Mecca and Medina. The mosque is dedicated to Umm Haram, the wife of the Prophet Mohammed's uncle, who died during a visit to Cyprus in the 7th century.
Another milestone of our tour is Larnaca's Salt Lake. For many centuries, the lake was a source of salt. "White gold" has a positive impact on the economy of Cyprus. Now the lake is a natural attraction.
A walk along the coast will refresh you and leave a wonderful impression of the picturesque view. The famous Church of St. Lazarus of the 9th century is known throughout the Christian world. The temple attracts pilgrims from different countries. Many healings and other miracles were performed here, thanks to the fragments of the relics of Saint Lazarus.
Our next stop will be in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, which is divided in two parts. You will have time to walk along the famous Ledra Street and cross the "Green Line" and visit the Northern part of Nicosia.
Our tour is an excellent way to explore the rich history and cultural landmarks of Cyprus. It's a perfect excursion for those who want to learn about the island's diverse history and see some of its most beautiful sights.
