Sambor Prei Kuk - Siem Reap
Day 1 :
At around 08:00 – 08:00, you will be picked by our guide then depart from Siem Reap for Kampong Thom - a province located at the central point of the Kingdom of Cambodia.After about 2.5 hours driving, we will reach the Sambor Prei Kuk - a collection of 7th century temple ruins.The main temple area consists of three complexes, each enclosed by the remains of two concentric walls.Walk through the jungle and enjoy the spectacular views.Later we take ox-cart ride to feel the serene and soothing atmosphere and you might want to ride a local bike for exploring the area further.
Next, you will have a chance to observe the locals’ craft making from bamboo and rattan.Isanborei Craft Hut is ran by the local community as a part of the community-based tourism project.In term of supporting them, you contribute to the sustainability of the locals’ livelihood.Later a simple but surely tasty lunch will be served by the locals.
After lunch, proceed to Santuk Silk Farm, where offers you a fascinating look into the production of silk and the weaving process.Back to Siem Reap and end the trip at your hotel around 17:00
