Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Nias Island
Arrive at the Binaka airport and meet your local tour guide for pick-up and transfer.
Move to Sihare’o and Tumori Village, the traditional settlements where you can enjoy the traditional foods of Nias and interact with friendly local people, which allows you to get a general sample of this small island, its cultural heritage and its people.
Admire the past traditional life of Nias people in a Museum where they have stored over 5,000 items of Nias traditional heritage.
Enjoy a performance of Nias traditional instruments and songs played by the traditional musician.
Experience what it is like to be an indigenous Nias by sleeping in the rounded wooden elevated house (optional).

Day 2: Tureloto & Gawu Soyo
Transfer to the northern part of Nias, where you will enjoy the wonder of Ture Loto, a bay with crystal clear seawater and white sandy beach, you can also find many beautiful corals sticking to the surface of the water, resulted by the earthquake which hit Nias last 2005.
Engage in snorkelling, swimming, freediving and playing with beautiful coral fish among the rows of corals protruding into the sea.
Visit Gawu Soyo, the only red sandy beach in Nias and spend your leisure time by watching the beautiful sunset.

Day 3: Makora Island
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise in the morning and go sailing across the small island in the north to enjoy the turquoise water of Makora Island.
See the 100m square table coral with colourful coral fishes and if you are lucky, you will be able to watch groups of dolphins playing around your boat.

Day 4 : Bawomataluo
Head the South to visit the magical traditional settlement of Bawomataluo which offers stone jumping, the best and most phenomenal tourist attraction in Indonesia.
See hundreds of traditional houses stand in this village and visit the King’s house, the biggest traditional house in Nias.
Visit Orahili Village, the cultural village in Southern Nias.

Day 5: Sorake Beach
Spend the day at your leisure and enjoy the magical waves of Sorake Beach. Exciting optional activities include swimming, surfing, sunbathing, sunset/sunrise hunting.
Return to Gunungsitoli and stop at the souvenir shops before you leave Nias on the next day.
