Day 1: Arrival in Colombo
- After checking into your hotel, take advantage of some time on your own to relax or explore the hustle and bustle of the city.
Overnight in Colombo.

Day 2: Pinnawala & Dambulla
In the morning, drive to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village.
After that, leave for Dambulla, a 3-4 hr drive from Pinnawala.
Take your time to relax in Dambulla.
Overnight in Dambulla.

Day 3: Sigiriya, Dambulla & Kandy
In the morning, climb the Sigiriya Rock. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka.
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. A World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka, it is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.
After touring Dambulla Cave temple, drive to Kandy.
On your way, visit the Spice Garden, and watch the Cultural Show in the evening, an event geared towards tourists in Sri Lanka.

Day 4: Kandy & Kitulgala
Visit the Tooth temple in the morning. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha.
Head to the Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka.
After the Botanical Garden, do shopping in Kandy City, and then drive to Kitulgala to spend the night there.

Day 5: Kitulgala & Nuwara Eliya
Do water-rafting in the morning at Kithulgala.
Drive to Nuwara Eliya, known for its temperate, cool climate; the city is, in fact, the coolest area in Sri Lanka.
On our way to Nuwara Eliya, visit a tea factory, watch waterfalls, and tea plantations with your Sri Lankan guide/driver.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6: Ella & Tissamaharama
In the morning, at 9.30 am, begin the train trip from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, which takes about 3hrs.
Observe the beauty of Sri Lanka while passing through the middle of the tea plantations and vegetable gardens.
Stay that night in Tissamaharama.

Day 7: Yala, Galle & Bentota
At 5.30 am, do the Yala Safari and then drive to Bentota.
On the way, visit Hummanaya Blow Hole and Galle Fort.
Stay that night in Bentota Beach Side Hotel.
