Explore Trunyan or Terunyan, a Balinese village located on the eastern shore of Lake Batur. Learn about one of the most interesting burial cultures from the locals there. In the traditional Balinese village of Trunyan, the dead are not buried. They are not cremated or burned on a pyre. They are simply laid on the ground and left to rot.
