Know Before You Go

Best Season: The trek is best during spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) for clear skies and stunning Himalayan views.

Trek Difficulty: Easy to Moderate – Suitable for beginners, families, and experienced trekkers. Some uphill climbs but no technical difficulties.

Altitude Considerations: Maximum altitude is 2,175m (Nagarkot), so altitude sickness is not a major concern. Stay hydrated and take it slow.

Packing Essentials: Comfortable trekking shoes, layered clothing, a rain jacket (monsoon), a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and personal toiletries.

Accommodation: Basic tea house in Chisapani, comfortable resort in Nagarkot. Expect simple yet cozy rooms with shared bathrooms in Chisapani.

Food & Water: Meals include traditional Nepali, Tibetan, and continental cuisine. Bring water purification tablets or buy bottled/mineral water along the way.

Electricity & Charging: Electricity is available at teahouses and resorts, but charging may cost extra in Chisapani. Bring a power bank for backup.

Wi-Fi & Mobile Network: Mobile network coverage is available but can be weak in some areas. Limited Wi-Fi at lodges (may require an extra charge).
