Description
The National Park of Peneda-Gerês is located in the north-eastern part of Portugal, along the border with Spain. Besides all the lagoons, waterfalls, small untouched villages, cattle, wild horses and goats, iberian wolfs, this is one of the places in Portugal where we have protected species of wild animals.
Instead of going to the areas of the park that everyone goes (and that the tour consists basically of forest and vegetation areas), this version of the National Park tour will take our clients to places, in the park area, where there’s a lot of cultural heritage, landmarks and lots of villages where we can still see how the rural areas were, on the countryside..
It also includes some, or a lot of walking to preserved areas to provide a close contact with the land, animals, people, their traditions and way of life.
