Itinerary

1. Day 1- Pickup in Arusha, Tarangire National Park, and Travel to Ngorongoro Crater

   • Morning: Your honeymoon begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Arusha. Your private guide will accompany you throughout the entire journey, providing insights into the regions you’ll explore. From Arusha, you will head toward the first destination, Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds.
   • Arrive at Tarangire National Park: Upon arrival, you’ll embark on your first game drive in Tarangire. The park is rich in wildlife, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, and lions. You’ll have the chance to witness these majestic animals in their natural habitat against the backdrop of the park’s unique landscapes, filled with baobab trees and open savannah.
   • Lunch: After your morning game drive, you’ll stop at a picnic area or your lodge for lunch, where you can relax and enjoy the views of the park. Some lodges offer al fresco dining, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a leisurely meal in nature.
   • Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy a relaxed game drive as you make your way toward Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you’ll pass through beautiful scenery, including the Rift Valley. Once you arrive at your lodge in Ngorongoro, you’ll check-in and have time to unwind before a romantic dinner. Many lodges offer a unique experience with breathtaking views of the crater’s rim.

2. Day 2- Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari

   • Early Morning: After an early breakfast, you’ll set off for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular places in the world. The crater is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos). Early mornings are ideal for viewing predators like lions and cheetahs, which are often more active at this time.
   • Midday: After several hours of game viewing, you’ll return to your lodge for a delicious lunch. Take the time to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings, or perhaps enjoy a dip in the lodge’s pool or a spa treatment to unwind.
   • Afternoon: In the afternoon, you’ll head back for another round of exploration inside the crater. The diverse ecosystem and landscapes will keep you engaged as you spot flamingos feeding in the soda lake or buffaloes wallowing in the mud. The Ngorongoro Crater is an unforgettable experience, with abundant wildlife in an extraordinary setting.
   • Evening: Return to your lodge for a romantic dinner, with the stunning views of the crater rim providing the perfect backdrop. Enjoy a private meal in the evening, or have dinner with other guests while enjoying the exceptional hospitality of the lodge.

3. Day 3- Travel to Serengeti National Park

   • Morning: After breakfast, you’ll depart Ngorongoro Crater and begin your journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive will offer you the opportunity to appreciate the changing landscapes as you move from the lush forests of Ngorongoro to the expansive savannah of the Serengeti. As you approach Serengeti, you may begin to spot animals along the way, such as giraffes, zebras, and impalas.
   • Arrive at Serengeti National Park: Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge or luxury tented camp in Serengeti. Your accommodation will be situated in prime wildlife-viewing areas, ensuring you’re surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti plains. After settling in, you’ll embark on your first game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll encounter an incredible range of wildlife, from lions and cheetahs to gazelles and wildebeests.
   • Lunch: After the morning drive, return to your lodge for a leisurely lunch, where you’ll enjoy a meal with spectacular views of the Serengeti plains. Take the time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
   • Afternoon: In the afternoon, you’ll venture out for another game drive in the Serengeti. The park is known for its wide-open spaces, offering fantastic opportunities for wildlife viewing. Serengeti is also famous for its annual wildebeest migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains. 
   • Depending on the time of year, you may witness the dramatic migration or encounter predators hunting these migrating herds.
   • Evening: Return to your lodge for a delicious dinner, perhaps under the stars for an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of the Serengeti.

4. Day 4- Full Day Serengeti Safari

   • Early Morning: Begin your day early with a morning game drive in Serengeti. The park is renowned for its predator populations, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Morning is a great time to see lions hunting or predators scavenging the plains. With endless plains and numerous animal species, Serengeti offers one of the best game viewing experiences in Africa.
   • Midday: After an exhilarating morning game drive, return to your lodge for a delicious lunch. You can spend the afternoon at leisure, either relaxing at the lodge, enjoying a spa treatment, or taking a dip in the pool. Some lodges offer optional activities like guided nature walks or cultural experiences.
   • Afternoon: After lunch, set out for another afternoon game drive. Serengeti's wildlife is diverse, with herds of elephants, giraffes, and antelopes, and the park’s wide open spaces provide ample opportunities for photographers to capture the iconic African landscapes.
   • Evening: As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a private dinner, perhaps set up in a secluded area, offering you and your partner a peaceful and intimate experience in the wild.

5. Day 5- Morning Game Drive in Serengeti & Departure

   • Early Morning: On your final day, enjoy one last morning game drive in the Serengeti. This early morning drive will be your final opportunity to spot wildlife in one of the world’s most famous parks. Whether it’s watching a lion pride in action or witnessing a herd of wildebeest cross the plains, this drive will offer some of the most memorable moments of your honeymoon.
   • Breakfast & Check-Out: After your morning drive, return to your lodge for breakfast. Take a moment to reflect on your safari experience before checking out.
   • Departure: Following breakfast, you’ll head back to Arusha. You’ll be dropped off at either your accommodation in Arusha or a nearby airstrip for your flight home or onward travels
