1. Day 1- Arrival at Ngorongoro Crater, Travel to Tarangire, Evening Game Drive

   • Morning: Your honeymoon begins with an early morning departure from your location (either Arusha or another nearby area), with your private guide who will accompany you throughout your safari journey. 
   • The scenic drive to Ngorongoro will offer opportunities to appreciate Tanzania’s rural landscapes and the diverse terrain leading you to your first stop.
   • Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater & Lunch: Upon arrival at Ngorongoro, you will check into your luxurious lodge or tented camp that offers stunning views of the crater. After a light welcome, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch prepared for you and your partner.
   • Afternoon: Following lunch, you will make your way to Tarangire National Park, which is a few hours’ drive from Ngorongoro. The landscape changes dramatically as you approach Tarangire’s iconic baobab trees and open plains, offering you the chance to spot herds of elephants, zebra, and gazelles grazing in their natural habitat.
   • Evening: In the late afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in Tarangire, where you can expect to see an abundance of wildlife, especially elephants, as the park is famous for its large herds. 
   • Return to your lodge for a peaceful evening and a romantic dinner under the African sky. Many lodges offer outdoor dining experiences, allowing you to dine by candlelight while gazing out at the serene surroundings.

2. Day 2- Full Day at Ngorongoro Crater

   • Early Morning: After a hearty breakfast, you will set off on an early morning game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater. This area is renowned for its rich biodiversity, and an early start gives you the chance to see predators at work as well as enjoy the quiet beauty of the crater. 
   • Spot the majestic elephants and lions in the savannah, or the endangered black rhinos that roam the crater’s floor.
   • Midday: Around mid-morning, you will return to your lodge to relax and have a delightful lunch with your partner while enjoying panoramic views of the crater below. Take a moment to relax or visit the lodge’s amenities, such as a spa, before heading back out for an afternoon of exploration.
   • Afternoon: Your afternoon game drive will take you deeper into the crater, giving you the opportunity to observe wildlife from a variety of angles. 
   • The crater is home to not just the Big Five but also to a large population of birds, making it an ideal location for birdwatching.
   • Evening: Return to your lodge for dinner and unwind after a thrilling day of wildlife viewing. 
   • The evenings at Ngorongoro are magical, with the dramatic caldera views and the sounds of the wilderness adding to the romantic ambiance. Many lodges offer private dinner settings, perfect for honeymooners seeking a more intimate experience.

3. Day 3- Morning Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater & Departure

   • Early Morning: On the final morning of your honeymoon safari, you will enjoy an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This is often the best time to see wildlife in its most active state. 
   • Depending on the season, you may even have the chance to witness flamingos feeding in the crater’s soda lake or observe lions as they begin their day.
   • Breakfast & Check-Out: After your morning game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out. Take a final moment to enjoy the magnificent views from the crater’s rim.
   • Departure: After breakfast, your guide will transport you back to your departure point, whether it’s a drive back to Arusha or a nearby airstrip for your flight home or to your next destination.
