- Göbeklitepe, which means "belly hill", is the oldest known temple in human history, and the first religious center on earth. Approximately 20 temples have been discovered in the region, and so far, six temples have been unearthed.
- The level of soil at the location of the building shows that the building was buried by human hands, not naturally. Göbeklitepe was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2018 and included in the World Heritage List.
- You can see at least 15 buildings and more than 200 obelisks, T-shaped columns, whose lengths between 3 and 6 meters, are thought to be stylized human figures. 3-dimensional lion relief.
- These figures strengthen the possibility that lions lived in Anatolia during the Neolithic period.
- The discovery of Göbeklitepe is an indication that settled life was passed through the temple, not agriculture. Before Göbeklitepe, all history books stated that the transition to settled life occurred with the emergence of farming and animal husbandry.
