Dress Code: Dubai is a conservative city, so modesty is advisable, especially at religious or cultural sites. Women should cover their shoulders and knees, and men should avoid sleeveless shirts.

Weather: Dubai can be extremely hot, especially in summer. Be prepared with lightweight, breathable clothing and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Cultural Sensitivity: Respect local customs and traditions. Public displays of affection are not typical and may be considered inappropriate. Always ask for permission before taking photos of people, particularly in traditional attire.

Currency & Language: The UAE Dirham (AED) is the local currency. Credit cards are widely accepted, but carrying cash for small purchases is always good. While Arabic is the official language, English is widely spoken, and most signs and menus will also be in English.

Safety & Etiquette: Dubai is known for its safety and low crime rates. However, it's always wise to take standard precautions with your belongings. When greeting locals, a polite "As-salaam alaykum" (peace be upon you) is appreciated. Please avoid using your left hand for handshakes or handing over items, as it's considered impolite.

Health: Carry any personal medications you may need and have travel insurance that covers health emergencies during your trip.

Photography: Photography is generally allowed in public places, but avoid taking photos of government buildings, military installations, and specific public spaces. Respect any signs that prohibit photography.
