Over 8 days of cycling you will experience some of Tanzania’s most beautiful landscapes, vibrant villages and wonderful cultures. From the Maasai people who inhabit the arid western plains of Kilimanjaro to the Chagga people who inhabit the foothills of the mountain you will get to discover, experience and learn about these wonderful cultures first hand. While on your journey you will traverse vast open grasslands rich in wildlife, lush green forests, farmlands, villages and towns. Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania, Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport

- Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your guide who will transfer you to Moshi Town, located at the foot of the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. The drive to Moshi offers a glimpse of the stunning landscapes that will accompany you throughout your adventure. Upon reaching Moshi, you'll check into your accommodation at Park View Inn Hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
- In the afternoon, you’ll meet your guide for a comprehensive briefing about the tour, including an overview of the routes, safety instructions, and what to expect over the next few days. This is also the perfect time to assemble your bikes and gear. If you arrive on a morning or afternoon flight, you’ll have the opportunity to go for a test ride around the nearby sugar cane plantations and surrounding villages. This allows you to get comfortable with your bike and adjust any equipment before the ride begins.

- Today, your cycling adventure begins as we depart from the lush, fertile southern side of Mt. Kilimanjaro, heading towards the more arid western slopes of the mountain. The route starts with scenic rides through coffee and banana plantations, allowing you to experience the rich agricultural landscape of the region. As you continue west, the terrain gradually transforms into open plains and acacia woodlands, giving way to wide, sweeping views of the mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro on the horizon.
- This ride offers not only a change in landscape but also a cultural transition. While Moshi is predominantly home to the Chagga people, today you’ll cycle into the Maasai Lands—a place where the nomadic Maasai people coexist harmoniously with the wildlife in this incredible ecosystem.
