Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Karatu

   • After dropping you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our safari guide will drive you to your Karatu accommodation. 
   • Here, you will rest for the remainder of the day and spend the night. After that, if you have time, you may have a free city tour with our safari guide.

2. Day 2: Central Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, you will depart for Central Serengeti in search of wildlife. 
   • You will enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the camp.
   • Serengeti is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be ready to see resident predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfill their role in the circle of life.

3. Day 3: Serengeti North

   • Get up early and enjoy breakfast, then drive to Northern Serengeti around the Mara River, where the annual migration occurs. Our safari guide will find the best place to observe this event.
   • The Great Migration is the most significant herd movement of wildebeest, zebra, and other animals crossing the Mara River to Masai Mara in Kenya. 
   • The migration is a magnificent event as the movement of animals is over a river full of crocodiles. The best time to visit is from July to early October every year.

4. Day 4: Northern and Central Serengeti

   • Get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, then continue with a game drive in northern Serengeti, keeping an eye on the events of the Great Migration. 
   • Later in the afternoon, we drive back to Central Serengeti, where we stop and have our overnight stay.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes.
   • The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the natural wonders of Africa. 
   • About 30 000 large mammals (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos) are resident all year round, as well as a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

6. Day 6: Karatu to Arusha Airport to Zanzibar

   • After breakfast, relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping. 
   • From Karatu, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for the private transfer to your beach resort.
   • Accommodation: Tembo Hotel

7. Day 7-9: Relaxing on Zanzibar Beach

   • The next few days are set aside for you to relax at the beach and the resort. So take your time and enjoy your rest and the wonderful scenery.
   • Discover Zanzibar's best beaches with spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, and colorful coral reefs.

   Accommodation: Z-Hotel

8. Day 10: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport

   • Enjoy the remaining few hours before you depart from the resort and transfer to Zanzibar Airport. But, unfortunately, this is where our service ends.
   • On the way back to Zanzibar Airport, you can stop at Stone Town and buy souvenirs and other memorabilia.
