Explore Cheget’s trails, marvel at the "Maiden’s Braids" waterfall, and ascend by cable car to the glacier’s edge for stunning views of the Caucasus peaks. Trek through the lush Terskol River Valley and savor the mineral-rich waters of the Narzan Valley.
Itinerary

Arrival at Mineralnye Vody Airport
- Arrival at Mineralnye Vody Airport.
- Group transfers: from 12:00-12:15 for those arriving by 11:30, and from 15:15-15:30 for those arriving by 14:45.
- Transfer to the hotel (200 km, approximately 3 hours) in the Baksan River valley at the foot of Mount Elbrus. In the evening, dinner and briefing. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2- Cheget
- Walk to Cheget with the option to take the chairlift.
- Descent to the Cheget glade for lunch. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3- Acclimatization walk to the Maiden Braids
- Acclimatization walk to the "Maiden's Braids" waterfall (2700 m) along the old road through the pine forest and alpine meadows.
- Optional ascent to the observatory (3100 m) with a view of the climbers' route on Elbrus. Lunch and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4- Ascent by cable car to the shelter at the glacier's edge
- Morning transfer to Azau and ascent by cable car to the shelter at the glacier's edge. It’s winter here year-round, but it’s relatively warm during the day.
- Free time for snowcat or snowmobile rides (snowmobiling is at your own risk).
- From the top, you can see the Caucasus mountain range and all the five-thousanders of the region, except Mount Kazbek.
- Descent by cable car and return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5- Trekking in the Terskol River Valley
- Trekking in the Terskol River Valley—this route takes you from the village through pine forests, past raspberry, lingonberry, and blueberry bushes to alpine meadows and a lava wall.
- Option to reach the waterfall.
- The easiest trek in the program, requiring no special endurance. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6- Walk to the Narzan Valley
- Walk to the Narzan Valley, where you can taste mineral water straight from natural springs, fish for trout, and hike to a slope with views of Elbrus. Overnight at the hotel.

- Free days. Overnight at the hotel.

- Free days. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9- Departure
- Morning transfer to the airport (departure at 7:00). Optional walk around Pyatigorsk, with the possibility to leave your luggage at the airport and visit the site of the duel of M.Yu. Lermontov.
Options for free days:
Trekking in the Adyl-Su Gorge (requires border pass).
Trekking in the Iryk-Chat Gorge.
Jeep tour to the north of Elbrus with return through Kislovodsk.
Jeep tour to Bezengi with a visit to the Chegem waterfalls.
