Day 1- Nalemuru Gate - Simba Camp
- Your trek starts at Nalemuru Gate, leading you through scenic landscapes to Simba Camp.
- Begin to immerse yourself in Kilimanjaro’s natural beauty.
Day 2- Simba Camp - Second Cave Camp
- Continue your ascent from Simba Camp to Second Cave Camp, where the mountain’s diverse terrain begins to reveal itself.
Day 3- Simba Camp - Second Cave Camp
- Continue your ascent from Simba Camp to Second Cave Camp, where the mountain’s diverse terrain begins to reveal itself.
Day 4- Second Cave Camp - Kikilewa Camp
- Venture to Kikilewa Camp, where the tranquil wilderness of Kilimanjaro surrounds you, offering glimpses of its serene beauty.
Day 5- Kikilewa Camp - Mawenzi Tarn Camp
- Venture to Kikilewa camp.
Day 6- Mawenzi Tarn Camp - School Hut Camp
- Your journey takes you to School Hut Camp, the last stop before the summit.
- Feel the anticipation building as you approach the peak.
Day 7- Uhuru Peak - Descent to Horombo Camp
- Summit day arrives as you ascend to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
- Witness a breathtaking sunrise before descending to Horombo Camp.

Know Before You Go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.

The operator can help select your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.

Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha. Or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).

A transfer from and back to the airport is included.

Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
