What is Ausangate? The Nevado Ausangate is known as “The creator of the waters”; because of its glacier mass it gives origin to natural formations such as: lagoons, among them: the lagoon of Sivinacocha, which according to the Andean mythology is the masculine energy that fertilizes the mother earth Pachamama.
Itinerary

Ausangate Tour 7 Lagoons
- We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco from 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. depending on where you are.
- Then we will travel by tourist transport for approximately 3 hours to the village of Pacchanta.
- In this place we will have breakfast and start the hike, we will ascend little by little until we reach our first lagoon, and so on the following ones. The hike has a duration of 5 hours round trip.
- During the journey we will visit lagoons of different colors characterized by their blue, turquoise and green colors.
- Also, some of them are large and look like natural mirrors.
- The lagoons to visit are: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q'omercocha, Orqo Otorongo and China Otorongo.
- Along the way, we will also see Andean birds, alpacas, llamas and vizcachas.
- Then, we will return to Pacchanta.
- Here we will enjoy a delicious lunch, then we will relax in the hot springs.
- After the hot springs we will return to the city of Cusco, where our tour ends one block from the main square at 7:30 pm.
