Begin at Kainan Station and explore Fujishiro Shrine, the former site of the renowned Fujishiro Oji. Visit Jizo Mineji Temple, home to stone Buddhas that are Important Cultural Properties of Japan. Walk approximately 15 km through picturesque paths lined with history and nature, passing through serene bamboo groves and historic landmarks. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Kumano Kodo, finishing your journey at Kii-Miyahara Station.

Walk from Fujishiro Shrine
- 9:00: Begin at Kainan Station
- 9:30: Fujishiro Shrine (Fujishiro Oji): It is a key location on the pilgrimage route where former emperors have stayed, and is one of the five most prestigious shrines among the 99 Kumano shrines.
- 11:00: Fujishiro Pass: You can see various historical sites at this nationally designated historic site. The most difficult part of the Kii Road.
- 12:00: Kitsumoto Shrine and Tokorozaka Oji: It enshrines Tajimamori, the deity of mandarin oranges and sweets, and Kumano Iza no Okami.
- 13:00: Yamaji Oji Shrine and Ichitsubo Oji: At the autumn festival on October 10th, a crying sumo match is held to pray for the healthy growth of children, and it has been designated an intangible cultural asset by Wakayama Prefecture.
- 15:00: Tsumekaki Zizo: There is a legend that Kobo Daishi drew this on the rock with his fingernails while on a pilgrimage to Kumano, and it is said to cure travelers of illnesses.
- 16:00: End at Kii Miyahara Station
