Description
During the Meiji period, large-scale gun batteries were built around the island, and it became a fortress with about 600 soldiers stationed there, and was closed to the general public until the end of World War II. Let's enjoy history and nature by walking through the white lighthouse that shines against the cobalt blue of the sea, the ruins of five gun batteries that tickle the adventurous spirit, and the forest where the mountaineers train themselves. A local person who has two qualifications, National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter and Forest Instructor will guide you.
