1. Explore the highlights of Berlin

   • 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Brandenburg Gate & Reichstag
     • Start your day at the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin’s iconic landmark and a symbol of German unity. Learn about its historical significance as a former border between East and West Berlin. Next, visit the nearby Reichstag (optional entry to the glass dome with prior registration), where you’ll gain insight into Germany’s political heart.
   • 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Holocaust Memorial & Unter den Linden
     • A short walk takes you to the Holocaust Memorial, a poignant and powerful tribute to the victims of the Holocaust. From there, stroll along the historic boulevard Unter den Linden, passing notable landmarks like the State Opera, Humboldt University, and the Museum Island.
   • 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break in a Berlin Eatery
     • Enjoy a traditional Berlin lunch, such as Currywurst or Königsberger Klopse, at a restaurant near Museum Island or Hackescher Markt.
   • 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Checkpoint Charlie & Berlin Wall
     • After lunch, visit the historic Checkpoint Charlie, one of the most famous border crossings between East and West Berlin. Continue to the East Side Gallery, a preserved section of the Berlin Wall adorned with vibrant murals that bring Cold War history to life.
   • 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Potsdamer Platz & Modern Berlin
     • Head to Potsdamer Platz, a symbol of modern Berlin with its futuristic architecture. Experience how Berlin has transformed into a thriving world city since the fall of the Wall. Optional: A short stop at the Sony Center or a coffee break with views of this lively square.
   • 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Ending at Gendarmenmarkt
     • Conclude the day at the elegant Gendarmenmarkt, one of Berlin’s most beautiful squares, framed by the German and French Cathedrals and the Concert Hall. Relax with a coffee or a glass of wine to end your tour in style.
