Itinerary

1. Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Tarangire National Park

   • Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Moshi or Arusha, heading towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and ancient baobab trees. 
   • Enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s diverse wildlife including lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. In the evening, you’ll settle into your lodge or campsite within or near the park.

2. Day 2: Tarangire – Central Serengeti

   • After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. 
   • You’ll enjoy a scenic drive, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the vast plains of the Serengeti. The Serengeti is home to the “Big Five” and the Great Migration, depending on the season. 
   • Spend the afternoon on a game drive as you travel deeper into the Central Serengeti.

3. Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

   • Spend the day exploring the endless savannahs of the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. 
   • Witness the park’s rich wildlife including prides of lions, cheetahs hunting on the plains, large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and an abundance of birdlife. 
   • Depending on the season, you might catch the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.

4. Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

   • Continue your game viewing in Serengeti, heading to different areas to explore new wildlife hotspots. You can also visit the Seronera River, known for its large number of predators. 
   • Enjoy the breathtaking landscape, from golden savannahs to rolling hills. This day allows you to take in more of the Serengeti’s ecosystem and capture the beauty of this iconic park.

5. Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • After breakfast, enjoy one final game drive in the Serengeti as you begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 
   • Upon arrival, visit the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater is home to the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa, including black rhinos. 
   • Spend the afternoon exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site with a guided game drive inside the crater.

6. Day 6: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara National Park

   • Enjoy a day of bird watching and game viewing, where you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, hippos, and more. 
   • Spend your last full day of safari in this unique and picturesque setting.

7. Day 7: Lake Manyara – Arusha/Moshi

   • Arrive in Arusha/Moshi in the afternoon, concluding your 7-day Tanzania adventure with Klimb Kili.
