Itinerary

Day 1- Arusha/Moshi to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
- Transfer to Marangu Gate for registration, then begin your trek through lush rainforest to Mandara Hut (2,720m).
- Overnight at Mandara Hut.

Day 2- Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
- Continue through the rainforest and into the heather and moorland zone, reaching Horombo Hut (3,720m) for overnight.

Day 3: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
- Ascend through the alpine desert to Kibo Hut (4,703m), where you’ll rest in preparation for the summit climb.

Day 4: Kibo Hut to Summit and Back to Horombo Hut
- Start your midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), passing through Gilman’s Point.
- After celebrating at the summit, descend to Horombo Hut for overnight.

Day 5: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate and Back to Arusha/Moshi
- Descend to Marangu Gate, collect your summit certificate, and return to Arusha or Moshi, completing your unforgettable 5 days Marangu route Kilimanjaro climb.
