The itinerary

Day 01

New River Cruise to Lamanai Ruins

Depart from Belize City and drive 50 miles north to the town of Orange Walk. Along the way, your guide will interpret the areas you pass through and share the history of Belize.
Then stop at the toll bridge landing area for a restroom break before boarding the boat that will take you approximately 36 miles up the New River, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna along the way.
Upon arrival at Lamanai, a local lunch is served under the palapa. Lunchtime is approximately 30 minutes and also includes a restroom break.
After lunch, gather by the museum area and begin your walk through the reserve, where your guide will interpret the site trail and the structures in situ.
After the tour, enjoy 30 minutes for shopping on site before departing for the return journey.
