Itinerary

1. Day 1: Palangka Raya

   • Your Indonesian tour guide will pick you up from the airport.

   • Drive for around 30 km and reach Tangkiling National Park. Your tour guide will assist you with your hotel check-in and luggage.

   • Take a boat to the island of Orangutans. These apes were released on the island only after completion of their rehabilitation program. We are not allowed to leave the boats. We can only see them from a specific distance.

   Overnight stay at the resort.

2. Day 2: Banjarmasin

   • Have your breakfast and go for a boat ride to visit some more Orangutans. Your guide will inform you that these apes are only found in different Indonesian islands.

   • Return to the resort, collect your luggage and leave for Banjarmasin. It will take around six hours to reach Banjarmasin.

   • Stop by at a traditional house named Betang. These houses are very popular in this part of Indonesia because they are made out of fine quality wood. The stairs which are used to enter the house is known as the 'hejot'. 

   • Stop by for a quick lunch.

   • In the evening, we will reach Banjarmasin and check in to the hotel.

   Overnight stay at the hotel. 

3. Day 3: Loksado

   • Start your drive to Negara.

   • Enjoy lunch on the way.

   • Continue driving to reach Loksado later in the evening.

   Overnight stay at the hotel.

4. Day 4: Full Day at Loksado

   • Enjoy a delicious breakfast and start trekking from Loksado to the Dayak village. 

   • Visit the waterfall and some traditional houses. Come across a variety of flora and fauna on the way. See a number of cascades while trekking.

   • Stay with the Dayak community and will get to observe their lives closely. We will also have a traditional meal with them.

   Overnight stay at the Dayak village.

5. Day 5: Bamboo rafting

   • Have an early breakfast before going rafting on the Amandit River.

   • The Bamboo Rafting is a unique experience and we spend around three hours on the river. 

   • After lunch, head back to Banjarmasin.

   Overnight stay at the hotel.

6. Day 6: Floating Market & Departure

   • Visit the Floating Market early in the morning. Your tour guide will meet you at 05:00 am.

   • Take a boat and go to the floating market. These markets attract tourists from all over the world due to the unique products that are sold here.

   • After breakfast, go for the Monkey Island tour.

   • Transfer to airport for departure.
