Description

Visit Taman Negara and explore the prehistoric tropical rainforests while also enjoying activities like jungle walking in the night, trekking, bird watching, rapids shooting and more. Also, visit the Temple of Reclining Buddha in Penang, where the image of Buddha is regarded as the most beautiful reclining Buddha image in Thailand.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur - Taman Negara
- After Breakfast, depart for Kuala Tahan at 07:00 am
- Enjoy a tour at Batu Caves - a limestone outcrop.
  (Note: Decent attire is mandatory for Ladies to enter the Temple proper).
- Reach Kuala Tahan by around 11:00 am.
- Indulge yourself in activities like Canopy Walkway, Jungle Trekking to the Teresek Hill, spotting various types of birds and animals, rapids shooting and communicating with the Batek tribe who lead environment-friendly lives. You will get an insight into their fire-making skills and their blowpipe-hunting techniques.
- By 5:00 pm, check in to the hotel and relax.
- Dinner at the floating cafe in Kuala Tahan
- Night walk in the jungle. Enjoy the forest orchestra as the safari guide tells you about the animals that come out looking for food and water. Torch lights will be provided.
Get back to the hotel for a good night's sleep.
Day 2: Off to Cameron Highlands
- 08:00 am, post breakfast, depart for the Cameron Highlands.
- Have lunch at noon and then take a short break, after which you continue will with your tour of the Cameron Highlands.
- Visit and explore the aromatic tea gardens covering over 8,000 acres of refreshing rolling hills, Butterfly Farm & Insectarium, fruit market, and strawberry farm.
- 5:00 pm, check in to the hotel and relax.
Dinner includes the Hot Pot - a signature dish in the Camerons, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 3: Cameron Highlands-Penang
- 08:00 am, post breakfast, depart for Penang Island.
- Visit and experience some of the most eye-catching attractions including the famous cascading waterfalls.
- Reach Penang by around noon and have lunch at Edelweiss Cafe
- Next is an exciting Penang city tour.
- Visit Georgetown, The Trishaw Ride, Temple of Reclining Buddha, Khoo Kongsi, Clan Jetties, and Fort Cornwallis.
- 5:00 pm, get to the hotel and check-in.
- Go out and explore the surroundings on your own or simply relax in your hotel room.
Day 4: Penang

Complete the check-out formalities by 12:00 noon.

Taman Negara is a 130-million years old tropical rainforest covering 4343 sq km. It is the home to the most ferocious and endangered mammals like tapirs, tigers, elephants, sun bears, etc. There are over 14000 plants, 300 bird species, 238 fish, and the list is endless.

At 530 meters in length, Canopy Walkway is the longest in South East Asia, and you will get a bird's eye view of the world's oldest rainforest.

Rapids Shooting - is a thrill as the boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids. Please bring along a change of clothes.

Cameron Highlands is a Hill Resort, at 1500 feet above sea level, with temperatures 10 - 25 degrees Celcius.

Camerons is known for its farmlands, tea plantations, orchards, nurseries, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, wildlife, mossy forest, golf courses, places of worship, bungalows, land rovers, not forgetting the "Orang Asli" (Aborigines).

Penang Island: Penang Island was recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site on 7 July 2008 due to its rich past.

Option 1 - Langkawi Escape

0730 hrs: Catch a Ferry to Langkawi Island - beautiful, romantic, white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters. Activities range from deep-sea fishing, snorkelling, diving at the Marine Park, or visit the Mangroves.

The 7 generation curse by a young lady Mahsuri has since been over, and the Island is now a Honeymooner's Paradise with myths and legends.

Option 2 - Stay in Penang and explore more.
