1. Explore Haridwar and Rishikesh on this same day tour

   Morning - Departure from Delhi

   • Train: Board an early morning express train from New Delhi Railway Station to Haridwar (Shatabdi Express is a good option). Departure is usually around 6:00 AM.

   Breakfast: Served on the train.

   Travel Duration: Approximately 4-5 hours (Arrival in Haridwar by 10:30 AM).

   Haridwar Sightseeing (10:30 AM - 1:00 PM)

   • Upon arrival in Haridwar, your guide/driver will meet you at the station for sightseeing:
     • Har Ki Pauri: A revered ghat along the Ganges River, where pilgrims bathe and offer prayers. You can witness the spiritual aura and possibly take a dip in the holy waters.
     • Mansa Devi Temple: Accessible via cable car or trek, this temple dedicated to Goddess Mansa offers stunning views of the Ganges and Haridwar city.
     • Chandi Devi Temple: Another important pilgrimage spot located on Neel Parvat, which you can visit by taking a cable car ride for a scenic experience.

   Transfer to Rishikesh (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM)

   • After completing your Haridwar visit, drive to Rishikesh (about 25 km, 1-hour drive).

   Rishikesh Sightseeing (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

   • Explore the spiritual and adventure hub of Rishikesh:
     • Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula: Iconic suspension bridges offering views of the Ganges and access to ashrams and temples on either side.
     • Parmarth Niketan Ashram: A peaceful ashram that’s perfect for meditation and spiritual activities.
     • Triveni Ghat: A serene ghat where you can witness evening Ganga Aarti if time permits (early evening aarti starts around 5:30 PM).
     • Beatles Ashram (Optional): Explore the ashram where the Beatles stayed and composed music in the 1960s (if time allows).

   Lunch Break: Enjoy a local vegetarian meal at a riverside café in Rishikesh. 

   Evening - Return to Haridwar (5:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

   • Drive back to Haridwar to catch the return train.

   Board Train for Delhi (6:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

   • Train: Board the evening train from Haridwar to New Delhi (Shatabdi Express).

   Dinner: Served on the train.

   Arrival in Delhi (10:30 PM)

   • Arrive back at New Delhi Railway Station, marking the end of your spiritual day trip to Haridwar and Rishikesh.
