Immersing in Trieste's Treasures
- We’ll begin our tour at Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, one of the largest squares with seafront in Europe. Here, surrounded by elegant neoclassical buildings, we’ll uncover the historical significance of Trieste as a port of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. You’ll admire the Palazzo del Governo and the Town Hall, listening to stories that recount the vibrant past of the city.
- We’ll then proceed in the direction of the Cathedral of San Giusto, situated on the hill overlooking the city. This majestic church, with its rich collection of mosaics, is a symbol of Trieste's spirituality and offers breathtaking panoramic views from the top of the hill.
