Taj Mahal Day Tour
Early Morning Pickup:
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi early in the morning and drive you to the Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, where you will board the Gatimaan Express to Agra. The train departs around 8:10 AM and reaches Agra by approximately 9:50 AM.
Arrival in Agra:
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and driver, who will take you to the Taj Mahal. Spend time exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site and marvelling at its beauty as your guide shares interesting stories and facts about its construction and history.
Visit Agra Fort:
After visiting the Taj Mahal, proceed to the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the majestic red sandstone fort, which served as a residence for Mughal emperors.
Lunch Break:
Enjoy a lunch at one of Agra's quality restaurants, where you can savour local Indian cuisine.
Optional Visit:
After lunch, you can visit Itimad-ud-Daulah (popularly known as the Baby Taj) or Mehtab Bagh to enjoy a stunning view of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River.
Return to Delhi:
In the evening, you will be driven back to the Agra railway station to catch the Gatimaan Express back to Delhi. The train departs Agra around 5:50 PM and arrives in Delhi by 7:30 PM.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
