Itinerary

1. Day 1: Explore ladies face painting and dead ceremony at Mt. Hagen

   • We will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Allow 30 minutes for check-in, settle in, and get ready for our tour. We'll have lunch and then begin our tour at 1 p.m.
   • At 1 pm, everyone will board a bus for a 20-minute drive to our first destination, the Huli Wigmen tribe.
   • We will arrive at the Huli Wigmen village at 1:20 pm and spend 30 minutes enjoying a performance, taking photos, and asking questions.
   • At 1:50 pm, we will leave the Huli Wigmen tribe and head to our second destination, the Mount Hagen Weldo Mothers tribe.
   • At 2:10 pm, we will arrive at the Mount Hagen Weldo Mothers tribe and spend 30 minutes enjoying a performance, taking photos, and asking questions.
   • At 2:40 p.m., we will leave the Mount Hagen Weldo Mothers tribe for our third destination, a 40-minute drive.
   • At 3:20 pm, we will arrive at our third destination, the Dead Ceremony, where we will spend 40 minutes observing how the people from Mt. Hagen conduct the ceremony for their loved ones who have passed away.
   • At 4:00 pm, we will depart from the tribe and take a 45-minute drive back to the hotel.
   • We will return to the hotel at 5:15 p.m., settle in, relax, and get ready for dinner at 7 p.m.
   • At 7 pm, we will have dinner and then relax and rest for the next day's tour.

2. Day 2: Skeleton Tribe Tour

   • 7-8 am: After breakfast, we will pick up at the hotel and check out.
   • 9 am: Depart from Mt Hagen for Simbu Province, which will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. 
   • We will make a 30-minute stop at Jiwaka Province to pick up fresh organic fruits and vegetables along the highway drive on our National Highlands Highway - Okuk Highway. The scenery along the road is beautiful, so keep your cameras and phones ready for photo opportunities.
