Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

   • After breakfast, the driver/ guide will pack your picnic lunch boxes in a 4×4 safari jeep in the morning. Then, you will have less than 30 minutes to drive before you explore this wonderful country to your destination of the day, Lake Manyara. Although it is one of Tanzania’s small wildlife enclaves, Lake Manyara National Park is a spectacular reserve with incredible land diversity. This is the area where bird lovers will enjoy the most, the lake is full of birds such as hundreds of pink flamingos and yellow-billed storks to mention a few flying around the lake. Also, Lake Manyara is famous for a special variety of tree-climbing lions, which is probably the only variety of lions that cannot be found elsewhere in Tanzania, but also a great concentration of baboons, blue monkeys, large buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, and giraffe.
   • After the whole day game drive, you will be transferred to Kitela Lodge for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

   • Your driver/guide will take you to the Ngorongoro Conservation area in the morning.
   • After registration, descend to the crater for an enchanting game viewing. Known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. The UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a unique biosphere that has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes, and forests of ‘the land.
   • During your game drive inside the crater, you will likely see black rhinos, leopards, wonderful black-maned lions, and many flamingos.
   • After the crater, you will be transferred to Arusha, where you can overnight in Arusha or be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
