Itinerary

2. Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure

   • Wake up early for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience.
   • Accompanied by experienced guides, venture into the lush rainforest, following the trail of these fascinating primates.
   • As you trek, immerse yourself in the beauty of the forest, marvelling at towering trees, exotic plants, and vibrant birdlife.
   • When you encounter the chimpanzees, observe their social interactions, playful behaviours, and incredible intelligence.
   • After a satisfying lunch, explore other attractions in the park, such as the Kakombe Waterfall, a cascading waterfall surrounded by lush vegetation.
   • You can also visit Jane Goodall's research center to learn more about the chimpanzees and her groundbreaking work.
   • Return to the port for your boat trip back to Kigoma.
