Discover Djerba's Heritage, Markets, and Museums
- 07:00 - Our itinerary begins with a drive along the Chaussée Romaine, the only road linking Djerba to the mainland. We will briefly stop to enjoy the magnificent view before continuing to the village of Guellala, famous for its handmade pottery and traditional wooden kilns.
- 09:00 - Visit a workshop and the famous Guellala Museum of Art and Traditions to learn more about craft-making techniques and the history of Djerba.
- 10:00 - Head to Erriadh to discover one of the world's oldest synagogues, "La Ghriba", and explore the Djerba Hood district. You will have the opportunity to discover the culture and beliefs of Djerba's Jewish community through the fascinating history of La Ghriba.
- 11:30 - Our next stop is the town of Houmt Souk, the island's capital, where we will visit the market, the covered souk, and the traditional fondouks. You will have free time to shop for unique souvenirs and local products. After this busy morning, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Skifa restaurant on the Mediterranean, where you can sample various authentic Tunisian dishes.
- After lunch, we will head to Djerba Explore Park to visit the Lella Hadhria Museum and watch a crocodile feeding session. You can observe these fascinating animals in their natural habitat and learn more about their behaviour.
- 13:00 - Finally, we return to your hotel in the late afternoon after a day filled with cultural discoveries and unforgettable memories.
