Itinerary

Day 1 : Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Arusha
Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha by the professional driver and safari guide.
Dinner and overnight Karama lodge Arusha.

Day 2 : Arusha - Tarangire
Visit Tarangire National Park. It has a very large concentration of elephants but is also famous for tree-hanging pythons and leopards. All action in the park is concentrated around the Tarangire River.
Have lunch, spot twenty elephants or more drinking from the river or just taking a shower.
Accommodation: Kudu Lodge/ Dinner/Bed/Breakfast/lunch/ or Camp at Tarangire.

Day 3 : Serengeti national park
Enjoy a beautiful long scenic drive along Karatu and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Stop for coffee on the way to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge and enjoy the view of the Crater.
Have a game drive on the route with the roof open in Serengeti National Park to the center of the Serengeti. See a lot of cats on the way. The early hours are the best for spotting leopard or lions 'at work.

Day 4 : Serengeti National Park
On the second day in Serengeti, enjoy a whole day of game driving. Of all national parks in Africa, the Seronera region in Serengeti National Park is the best option to spot lions, cheetah, and leopards. There are always a lot of animals to see in the Serengeti; crocodiles and hippo, herds of antelopes, herds of gnus and zebras depending on the drought in the Serengeti and the time of wildebeest migration.
Accommodation: Kisura Tented Camp/ Dinner/Bed/Breakfast/Hot lunch or Boxes/ or Camp: 2 nights with warm showers.

Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater
Arrive early at the Ngorongoro Crater around 09.30 hrs for a 4-5 hour game drive. The picnic site is sometimes inhabited by stealing monkeys and acrobatic black kites and provides a real spectacle. It is safer to eat the food in the land cruiser or land-rover.
Visit the market in the village Karatu and eat lunch at a local restaurant.
Walk to the elephant waterfall near Gibson Coffee farm; ask for a guide here.
Accommodation: Kudu lodge or Camp. With swimming pool, warm showers

Day 6 : Karatu- Lake Eyasi-Karatu
Go on a scenic trip to Lake Eyasi. The road to the lake is easy with a lovely view and in the dry season a lot of dust. The drive will take about 2 hours. Meet the guide at arrival and see the village.
Visit the Hadzabes and Wada toque people, walk or drive to the Lake and relax in the village. It is also great to walk from Hassan to Lake Eyasi, to the shore of the lake, and enjoy a sunset at a local bar. Enjoy at Rosina’s local bar.
See the onion project set up in the sixties under President Julius Kambarage Nyerere.

Day 7 : Karatu-Arusha
After breakfast drive to Arusha with lunch boxes.
Transfer to Kia or a restaurant in Arusha.
Have coffee near Clock Tower.
Visit the Cultural Center here for good food and music.
