Itinerary

Day 1: Angkor Thom to Angkor Wat
In the morning, visit Angkor Thom, which comprises:
Bayon Temple - the state temple of Jayavarman VII and is one of the most enigmatic and powerful religious constructions in the world.
Baphoun - a vast temple near the center of Angkor Thom.
Elephant Terrace - the heart of Angkor Thom and looks out over the Royal Square.
Leper King Terrace - this massive terrace is named after the 15th-century sculpture that was discovered on top of it.
Enter Angkor Thom through the monumental South Gate, Avenue of gods and asuras lining the bridge across the structure moat.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat & Sunset at Phnom Bakheng. Built between the 9th and 14th centuries, the temple of Angkor are among the grandest monuments ever constructed. Among the 30 temples that are accessible today, the most famous is Angkor Wat, the largest religious building in the world. Unlike most other Khmer temples, it faces west, the most likely reason being that the temple was dedicated to Vishnu.
Admire the sunset from Bakheng Hill, which, in the late 9th century, was the state temple of the first capital of Angkor. The view from the top is magnificent, particularly of Angkor Wat to the south east and is the most popular spot for visitor at sunset.

Day 2: Banteay Srei to Preah Khan to Neak Pean
- In the morning, depart for jewel of Angkor, Banteay Srei, known as the “Citadel of the Women” or “Citadel of Beautiful”, presumably referring to its size and delicacy of its decoration.
- On the way back from Banteay Srei, see the beautiful brick temple Pre Rup.
- Visit Neak Pean, collected of five ponds in the middle of reservoir Jayatakata, The man-made 70m square pond surrounded by four smaller ponds.
- Explore Ta Som, which is a small monastic complex, face tower Gopuras many of the carvings which show an uncommon individually. A huge tree grows from the top of the eastern Gopura.

Day 3: Kravan temple to Ta Prohm to Ta Keo Temple to Floating Village
In the morning, visit the Kravan temple, which is the best brick carvings in the country, built by a group of Gurus in 921 and then Banteay Kdei.
Explore Ta Prohm or Tomb Raider Temple was built in 1186, 12th century by Jayavarman VII as a royal monastery.
Also, go to Ta Keo temple, Chausay and Thommanon temple.
In the afternoon, visit the Floating Village in the Tonle Sap Lake (Great Lake) and Artisan Angkor (fine arts school) and Local market.
