Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (8km/4hrs/2620m)

   • Catch the mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, enjoying stunning views of the Himalayas.
   • Meet the Sherpas and begin the trek to Phakding.

2. Day 2: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (12km/5hrs/3440m)

   • Hike to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest Base Camp, and spend two nights acclimatizing for the trek.

3. Day 3: At Namche Bazaar for Acclimatize

   • During today's acclimatization day, the group will hike up to Syangboche at 3860m. Weather permitting, you can spend some time here and enjoy tea or coffee while viewing the mighty Himalayas and, of course, Everest Peak.
   • Return to Namche, where the remainder of the day is yours to rest as you please.

   Total time spent hiking today will be around 3-4 hours.

4. Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (11km/6hrs/3680m)

   • Set out on a 6–7 hr trek through woods and rhododendron forests before arriving in Tengboche.

5. Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche (11km/5hrs/4400m)

   • Trek to Dingboche, crossing bridges and rivers with sweeping views of the Himalayan region.
   • Spend two nights here to acclimatize.

6. Day 6: At Dingboche

   • Today is an acclimatization day.
   • Opt to hike to Chhukung or Nagarzhang Peak, which offers an excellent sunset view at Makalu (8485 m).

7. Day 7: Dingboche - Lobuche (10km/5hrs/4900m)

   • Hike through alpine meadows and summer yak pastures towards the end of the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche, which has spectacular views of Nuptse.

8. Day 8: Everest Base Camp (Gorak Shep) 13km/6hrs/5310m

   • Today includes a challenging climb past the Khumbu Glacier, arriving in Nuptse.
   • Cross the Changri Glacier to Gorakshep, then enjoy the highlight of reaching Everest Base Camp.

9. Day 9: Gorak Shep - Kala Pathar - Pheriche (15km/6hrs/4200m)

   • Enjoy an early morning trek to Kala Pattar (5545m) for stunning sunrise views of Everest and surrounding vistas.
   • Later, descend to Pheriche.

10. Day 10: Pheriche - Namche Bazar (17km/7hrs/3440m)

    • Descend through Pangboche, Tengboche, and reach Namche Bazar.

11. Day 11: Namche - Lukla (20km/6hrs/2800m)

    • Continue our descent, stay in Monjo or Phakding's small village for lunch, and continue to Lukla.
    • The final day of our trek takes us back to Lukla, where we can relax after our rigorous adventure.

12. Day 12: Lukla - Kathmandu for Departure

    • Catch the short flight back to Kathmandu, where the rest of the day is free for shopping, sightseeing, or relaxing in one of the many rooftop cafés.
