Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Cairo

   • Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

   Tour starts in Cairo by staying in a 5-star hotel located conveniently near the Giza Pyramids (depends on availability).

2. Day 2: Cairo Tour

   • Begin in Cairo with an introduction to Egyptian Pharaonic history at the pyramids and Sphinx at Giza. 

   • In addition to that, after lunch, enjoy visiting the first pyramid in the whole world in Saqqara along with the museum of Memphis.

   Overnight at the hotel.

3. Day 3: Cairo Tour

   • Get a different vibe from Cairo and explore the huge Egyptian Museum with its famous Tutankhamen exhibit and a vast collection of statues and artifacts.

   • Enjoy lunch and visit the ancient churches of old Cairo, where the Hanging Church is and visit the church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius).

   • Visit the Synagogue of Ben Ezra.

   Return back to the hotel and overnight.

4. Day 4: Luxor East bank

   • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Luxor.

   • Visit the huge temple complex at Karnak added to by many different Pharaohs over the years.

   • Check into a 5-star Nile cruise boat by the Nile.

   • After lunch, enjoy a free afternoon to relax or explore Luxor. 

   • In the evening, visit Luxor Temple in the center of town when it is beautifully lit up.

   • Relish dinner served on the cruise and enjoy the entertainment on the cruise.

   Overnight on board.

5. Day 5: Luxor West Bank & Edfu

   • Before the tour starts this morning, you have the option of a spectacular hot air balloon flight to see the sunrise over the West Bank of the Nile.

   • This morning, tour the West Bank of the Nile and explore the Pharaonic tombs in the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon with your Egyptologist tour guide. 

   • In the afternoon, sail upriver and cross through the lock on the Nile at Esna before continuing to Edfu.

6. Day 6: Edfu, Kom Ombo & Aswan

   • Visit Edfu Temple, the most preserved temple of ancient Egypt dedicated to the Falcon God Horus, before continuing to sail up the Nile to the temple at Komombo en-route, which is the double temple dedicated to the Falcon God and to the Crocodile Sobek. 

   • Arrive at Aswan overnight at the cruise and enjoy the entertainment (Belly Dancing show).

7. Day 7: Aswan, Philae temple

   • Nile is at its most picturesque in Aswan, and you have this morning a visit to one of the most romantic sites in ancient Egypt, which is Philae Temple.

   There is an option to visit the spectacular temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel in the morning.

8. Day 8: Aswan to Cairo

   • After breakfast, check out and transfer to Aswan International Airport for your return flight to Cairo and transfer to your 5-star hotel where you can enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure.

   Overnight at the hotel.

9. Day 9: Departure

   • This morning after breakfast, bid farewell to the land of the Pharaohs. Hoping that the trip lived up to the expectations and wish you a safe flight back home.

   • The assistant will transfer you from the hotel to the airport and will get you through the formalities.
